How to prevent and treat Deodorant/perspiration yellowing that occurs on the underarms of shirts?
I was wondering how you prevent the yellowing on the under arms, is there any sort of spray that prevents it? I have herd that a digestive enzyme works… if anyone knows more information about that and if it really works that would be great. As well as any treatments once the underarms start to yellow? Thanks.
I was told that if you use a deodorant/antiperspirant instead of just a deodorant that will prevent the yellowing. To remove it try Gain detergent, an enzyme detergent. Fill the wash tub with water and Gain, agitate until dissolved, place clothing in and agitate again until the clothes are very saturated, then turn off the machine for about 1/2 hour, just letting them soak. Then turn on the machine and let the cycle continue until the rinse cycle. In the final rinse place a quart of white vinegar to completely remove any soap or deodorant residue.
